Their review criteria is based on resume stage experience and a committment to creating a diverse acting pool of professional actors for area theatres. The committee reserves the right to verify any resume credits. Once the pool of qualified Non-Equity candidates has been established, audition time slots will be assigned. Typically, college/university applicants are seen on Tuesday along with other non-Equity participants. After all non-Equity audition time slots are filled, Alternates will be selected. In past Unified Auditions, time allowed for all Alternates to audition.

The Audition

Equity auditions will be scheduled for the first half of Monday with non-Equity auditions following. Tuesday will be non-Equity and Wednesday will be for Emerging Actors/College Graduates.

Applicants who are accepted by the screening committee will be assigned an audition time slot (Alternates will be assigned a time period to be present) either in the afternoon on Monday, March 29 or on Tuesday, March 30.  Non-Equity actors will be allowed 2 minutes total to perform their choice of EITHER 2 contrasting monologues OR, 1 monologue and 16 bars (No a cappella permitted.
