About Jennifer discovered a passion for costume design in 2002 after building a Princess Leia replica costume for a charity event in Philadelphia. Just 9 short months later she was sitting in class at the Art Institute of Philadelphia to obtain a Fashion Design degree. After graduating With Honors in seven short quarters, she designed for children's theater, summer stage, film shorts, and high school theater. She eventually moved into moving media and has styled for music videos, corporate industrials, documentaries and print. Last year she styled her own wedding, and also designed four of the bridesmaid dresses and made three of them. This is her third career so she brings an eclectic set of skills to the table including project management, good writing and communication skills, and the ability to listen to and enable a director's vision for any production. She is detail-oriented, collaborative and comfortable with the design process whether building, buying, borrowing or renting 'looks' for a production of any kind. |
