About Although born and raised in Georgia, Lydia Myers is a newcomer to the Atlanta theatre community.
Lydia recently graduated with a BM in Musical Theatre from Samford University where she appeared in productions such as High Society (Tracy Lord), The Rover (Florinda), A Piece of My Heart (Sissy), Die Fledermaus (Adele), Company (Jenny), and The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox). In the summer of 2008, Lydia completed an apprenticeship at Flat Rock Playhouse in North Carolina, performing in All Shook Up, Meet Me in St. Louis, and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia). As an apprentice, she also worked as a Production Assistant and as a member of both the electrics and costume crews. Other favorite professional credits include The World of Carl Sandburg (Carl Sandburg National Historic Site), I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Woman 1), and Lost in Yonkers (Bella) (The Roxy Playhouse, Morton, WA).
Lydia will be joining Stone Mountain Entertainment for the holiday season in their new children's production "Sleigh Ride." |
