Travis Ray is a recent graduate from Alabama State University with a BA in Theatre Arts. He has performed in The Sam Cooke Story, Carousel, The Exonerated, Buried Child, Spell # 7, Grease, An American Daughter, Kigali, A Few Good Men, The Church Fight and West Side Story. Travis has also directed The Dream Dance Show, the Legend of the Lion King, and The House of Sham. Mr. Ray has also worked for various art organizations such as: Aldridge Rep, The Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts (ACPA), The National Black Arts Festival (NBAF), Children’s Theatre of Charlotte (CTC), The Nebraska Rep, The Atlanta Falcon’s Georgia Dome, The King Tut Exhibit, The Atlanta Dogwood Festival, The America I Am Exhibit, Tyler Perry Studios, and the Tony Award Winning Alliance Theatre. Mr. Ray is currently pursuing a MFA degree in Theatre Management at the University of Alabama and hopes to open his own theatre company in the future.
