About
Matt Lewis made his Off-Broadway debut this summer in Hell: Paradise Found at the 59E59 Theater (www.hellparadisefound.com), deemed, “a witty comedy with matter of fact absurdity,” by the New York Times, and, “a screwball comedy with crackling performances and wickedly funny punchlines,” by Backstage. His regional credits include The Man Who Came to Dinner, Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story; Great Expectations (Georgia Ensemble), Cannibal! The Musical (Dad’s Garage), The Importance of Being Earnest (Academy Theatre), Six Degrees of Separation (Charlotte Repertory), and A Child’s Christmas in Wales (Theatre Gael). Film credits include Disney Shot Kennedy (Modest Conspiracy Films 2010), winner of Official Selections in the 2010 New York Friar’s Club Comedy Film Festival, the 2010 Atlanta Underground Film Festival, and the 2010 San Antonio Film Festival. He received his MFA in Acting at the University of Alabama under the tutelage of Seth Panitch, and his BA in Theatre and Performance Studies from Kennesaw State University.
