About Maria Sager is presently a principal in the noir web series The Steps - the story of Charlie Madison, a lowlife private investigator from Los Angeles who’s forced to live under an assumed identity in middle America to escape his criminal past. Starring Dylan Kussman and D'wayne Gardner.
She recently appeared as Graciela in the Aurora Theatre's Spanish world premier of Elaine Romero's BARRIO HOLLYWOOD. Her credits include: Synchronicity Theatre's revival of WOMEN + WAR; Diwata Jones in Theatre in the Square's Speech & Debate (2009 Suzi Bass Nominee); Song of Solomon in That Other Woman's Child at the New York Musical Theatre Festival; Synchronicity Theatre's Expecting Isabel (2008 Suzi Bass Nominee); Margaret in Margaret and the Moon directed by Kara Cantrell; Van’s Sister in Dog Sees God; Emily/Cactus in Mr. Marmalade; Little Sally in Urinetown, the musical; Clara/Caroline in The Nutcracker Christmas Carol; Hortense in The Boyfriend; Marie Buckholder in Come Back, Little Sheba; Charlotte Corday in Marat/Sade and LeAnn in A Piece of My Heart.
