Atlanta Performs Mission Statement:
Atlanta Performs is a service organization which focuses the collective efforts of its membership on developing diverse and sizable audiences, sharing resources among artists and organizations, and advocating on behalf of the arts, in order to support high quality performing arts that build community and strengthen Atlanta's, and all of Georgia's cultural image.

Atlanta Performs is a service organization working to support and promote greater Atlanta's performing arts community and industry.

Vision Statement:
Atlanta Performs envisions a performing arts community in the greater Atlanta area that is internationally recognized for the artistic excellence of work created in a collaborative and supportive professional environment for a diverse, engaged and educated community. We see a future where financially stable and growing performing arts organizations throughout greater Atlanta and all of Georgia, create an astonishing variety of innovative performances, in facilities appropriate to their needs, supported by an engaged news media, and united in robust advocacy on behalf of the arts. By engaging our industry and the community through valued programs and services, we foster our belief that exposure to the arts creates a more tolerant, understanding and civilized society; a better world for us all to call home.

2010/2011 Atlanta Performs Partner Membership Agreement

Whereas, Atlanta Performs is a membership driven, not-for-profit (501-c-3) performing arts service organization, and whereas the By-Laws of the corporation govern the Board of Directors, management and operation of the corporation, and whereas the mission of this member-driven organization shall be dedicated to collaborative programs and services which support, promote and advocate greater Atlanta's performing arts, and which serve the public good, Partners of the Atlanta Performs share certain Entitlements & Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

Membership Entitlements:

Timely notice of all meetings of the membership of the corporation.
One vote per member organization on all matters brought before the membership for vote, including changes to the By-Laws.
The right to attend meetings of the Board of Directors and/or its subcommittees.
The right to serve on the Board of Directors or its committees according to established guidelines and procedures.
Access to all programs and services established by the corporation.

Membership Responsibilities:

Timely payment of all membership dues and/or other monies due to the corporation.
Include words, "Member of Atlanta Performs" and/or logo (graphic available by e-mail) in show programs.
Honor the established minimum ticket allotment for the AtlanTIX half-price ticket booths.
Provide reciprocal website links for AtlantaPerforms.com.
Contribute tickets/other materials to at least one Atlanta Performs marketing or fundraising activity annually.
Provide information and statistics as necessary to advocate for and promote the performing arts industry.
Collaborate on initiatives that support the mission, membership, community and industry.
Per By-Laws: attendance at Annual Membership Meeting by at least one representative, and willingness to attend other meetings.

Through your paper or electronic signature, your organization acknowledges that it has read and agrees to the entitlements and responsibilities of Partner Membership.

ACPA was founded in 1984 by arts leaders from across the region, to connect the performing arts field both as a community, and an industry.
